It was a near freezing morning in Healesville, Victoria. The temperature sat at one degree and the forest felt completely still. A heavy fog had settled over the trees, softening everything in sight. Then the light broke through. Shafts of sunlight poured diagonally through the mist, reaching toward the forest floor in long, quiet beams.

In Reflection
The way the light cut through the cold created a sense of presence that felt almost otherworldly. It was not just a beautiful moment. It felt like the right moment. The kind of stillness that makes you stop, take notice, and feel completely grounded. Not in time, but in timing. That is Kairos; when everything aligns, not by chance, but by something deeper.

Anóthen is a Greek word, meaning “from above” or “anew.” This image carries that meaning, reminding us that renewal often arrives quietly, through timing rather than force.

In My Life
There are moments when everything seems to align, when timing feels less like chance and more like inevitability. The fog breaking into beams of light reminded me of those rare experiences, when clarity arrives without warning. I thought of the times in my life when patience was tested, yet the right moment eventually revealed itself. Anóthen continues to remind me that trust in timing is not passive, but an act of faith that allows presence to unfold.
