Growth, both physical and mental, often goes unnoticed, especially when born from negative experiences. Our instinct is to protect ourselves, but real growth happens when we learn to cope and process challenges.

In Reflection
Carl Jung described this inner darkness as the shadow self, the parts of us we suppress or reject. Avoiding the shadow only gives it more power. True growth requires facing it, sitting with discomfort, and recognising it as part of us. In the dark, we uncover strength. By integrating the shadow, we become whole, finding clarity, compassion, and resilience.

In My Life
