Distant
Distant
In View
Fog rolls across San Francisco Bay, enveloping Alcatraz Island until it emerges like a dream, ominous and spectral. The abandoned buildings and shifting mist create an atmosphere heavy with silence and tension.
In Reflection
The scene carries a sense of veiled threat, the feeling of approaching something unknown. The distant light hints at habitation, yet the question of safety lingers. It reflects the crossroads we encounter in life, moments when we are unsure if we are heading into danger or peace. In those times, trust in ourselves becomes the compass, guiding us toward safe harbours and solid ground.
In My Life
I have stood at those crossroads, uncertain of what lay ahead. Editing this image brought those feelings back, reminding me that clarity does not always arrive before the choice is made. It taught me that self‑trust is the light that carries us forward, even when the path is obscured.
