We are social creatures, meant to interact and share life with others. Yet for some, this can be exhausting. Introverts find solace in solitude, using time alone to regenerate and unpack crowded minds.
In Reflection
In hardship, being around others can feel exposing. We choose to isolate, seeking safety until we feel ready to be seen again. Both solitude and isolation have value, but balance is essential. Remaining too long can harm us, leaving too soon can create turmoil. Seclusion, when chosen with care, becomes a haven. A place to rest, to rejuvenate, and to prepare for rejoining the world.
In My Life
There were times when solitude felt like a refuge, not from people but from the weight of being seen. This image speaks to those moments when I needed space to breathe, to rebuild, to gather strength before returning to the world. It reminds me that seclusion is not isolation, but a sanctuary I can choose when I need to restore myself.
