Silent Threats

Silence, a place where peace can exist, but sometimes not. Stillness like this carries weight. It presses into the room, sharpening the senses and quieting the mind. There is no immediate danger, but your body does not quite believe that. You feel the pull of something just beyond the edge of knowing.

In Reflection
This is not fear in its loudest form. It is something slower and colder. The kind that settles in the gut before the mind can explain it. A presence that does not speak but refuses to be ignored.

You remain only because of partial recognition. The atmosphere of a moment you have felt before but could not describe. An internal shift. A warning without a sound.

Some threats never arrive. They linger. They shape how we breathe. How we listen. How long we stay. They come from within and until we can recognise them, they remain silent within us.

In My Life
Silence has often carried weight for me, not the peaceful kind but the tense quiet that lingers. I remember times when words were absent yet unease filled the room, shaping how I felt without explanation. This scene brought those memories back, teaching me that silence can be both unsettling and instructive. Silently Still continues to remind me that listening to what is unspoken often reveals truths that sound cannot.
