Pandas exhibit two main modes of operation – playfully clumsy or in the depths of slumber. Observing them in these states prompts reflections on our behavioral extremes. Do we spend too much time in a stressed environment fostering a state of fight or flight, thus reducing our time spent in the parasympathetic nervous system?
Are we overworked, overwhelmed, overstimulated, or maybe even underappreciated, which can cause energy and leave us desperately needing some time out? We often ignore the warning signs of stress and burnout, opting to rest later because of our endless list of things to do or finish. Some of this may be true, but our ability to favour stress and fight or flight over relaxation could be to our demise.
The quiet importance of taking time to recalibrate our minds, rest our eyes, exit the rat race, and rather be in the moment is the pinnacle of surviving the urban lifestyle we unknowingly throw ourselves into daily.
Each Limited Edition print is individually numbered, signed and accompanied by a unique Certificate of Authenticity. They are printed with a 5cm border on each side, on matt finish 310gsm archival paper. Once each set of 12 prints has been sold, they will never be printed and sold in this size and medium again.
